Of course I wanna build a snowman/Do you even have to ask/But it's too late now/I had to run/Please believe me when I say/I remember those joyful days/When you were near/And I was surrounded by your warmth/Oh how I'd love to build a snowman/With you

My fan-made deleted scene! Originally I had drawings, all very sketchy and rough, like storyboards usually are. But THEN I got back Bridney1widney's new version of this song and I just had to rethink everything. My drawings were not meeting the standard that she had now put in front of me. I wanted to have something that felt more finished, more clean and because I don't trust my drawing skills that much at the moment I turned to photo-manipulation. All the manips are based on my original storyboards (although a few of the frames are missing)!

I wanted to make this scene because I think it got so glanced over in the movie. Olaf symbolises Anna's and Elsa's love for each other and the rebuilding of him was sped past in 3 seconds. What's up with that?! This is also a response to all those who say "Elsa got plenty of screen time in the movie. Stop complaining! What else could they have shown?!" This for example? The creation of one very important character? Showing how much she misses her sister? Ò_ó

I have seen many use a reprise for "Do you wanna build a snowman" in the end after Anna "died", but if I had directed the movie I would not have placed the song there. Firstly, I like the silence in the background, that we just hear Elsa's crying. Secondly, it would not fit pacing wise. If Anna would had STAYED frozen, then YES! But if she is going to thaw then it would not work. I hate convenient magic and the thought of making it a "nice and considerate spell" that waits until Elsa has sung her song just makes me cringe. (To those who don't follow: it was Anna's SACRIFICE that saved her life, NOT Elsa's hug or tears, and to wait a whole song number for her to start thawing makes no sense.)

Ultimately, I have very mixed feelings about Frozen.
Things I liked: The animation, the colours, the eye to detail, the cinematography, the parallels, the voice acting and the soundtrack (and Olaf). :D

Things I did not care for: The leading ladies character design, Hans' incapability as a a villain, Elsa's and Anna's character development, lack of world building, the trolls, the rushed ending, the meaningless death of the parents, Anna as the main protagonist, ect. =_=
